Ethnographic museum in a grand colonial-era building. Collections from Southeast Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Under-visited gem.

🎫 Book weeks ahead

Van Gogh and Anne Frank House sell out. Rijksmuseum less so, but skip-the-line saves 45+ minutes in summer.

🕘 Go at opening

First hour is always quietest. By 11am, Museumplein is packed. Evening openings on Fridays at some museums.
