Who we are

WanderAmsterdam is operated by Claduta Corp. The site is a tour-discovery platform that connects travelers with verified local Amsterdam tour operators across Amsterdam city, Centrum, Jordaan, and De Pijp. We do not handle bookings ourselves — clicking through to a tour sends you to the operator's own booking system, where their privacy practices apply.

What we collect

When you visit WanderAmsterdam, we collect a limited set of analytics data through Google Analytics 4:

• IP-anonymized location signals (city/region level)
• Browser type, device type, and operating system
• Pages you viewed and time spent on each
• How you arrived at the site (referrer URL, search term where Google passes it)
• Events you triggered, such as clicking a "Check Availability" button

What we don't collect

WanderAmsterdam does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, payment information, or any other personally identifying information directly. Bookings are handled by individual tour operators through FareHarbor — they collect what they need to confirm your reservation, under their own privacy terms.

How we use the data

• To understand which pages and tours travelers find useful, so we can improve the site
• To spot broken pages, slow loads, and other technical issues
• To measure which referral sources bring visitors

We do not run advertising or marketing campaigns targeted at site visitors based on this data. We do not build behavioral profiles for resale.

Cookies

WanderAmsterdam sets cookies only for analytics purposes (Google Analytics 4). We do not use third-party advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or social-media share trackers. A formal cookie consent banner is planned for a future update; if you want to opt out of analytics in the meantime, you can use your browser's "Do Not Track" setting or block cookies for this site.

Third parties we share data with

• Google Analytics — receives the anonymized usage data described above, subject to Google's own privacy terms.
• FareHarbor — when you click "Check Availability" on a tour, you are redirected to FareHarbor's booking system. FareHarbor and the operator handle your booking information directly. We do not see your name, payment details, or booking confirmation.
• GitHub Pages — the hosting platform that serves this site. Standard web server logs apply.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA / others)

Depending on where you live (EU (including the Netherlands), UK, California, and others), you have rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, and similar regulations to:

• Request a copy of any data we hold about you (right of access)
• Request deletion of that data (right to erasure)
• Request that we stop processing your data
• Receive your data in a portable format
• Object to processing or withdraw consent

Because we don't collect personal information directly, most requests resolve to "no data on file" — but if you'd like us to confirm that, or to delete a specific session, email info@cladutacorp.com and we will respond within 30 days (or sooner where law requires).

Data retention

Analytics data is retained at Google Analytics 4's default setting (14 months) for user-level and event-level data. Aggregated reports (e.g., monthly traffic summaries) may be retained longer for trend analysis but contain no individual-identifiable information.

Children

WanderAmsterdam is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a child has interacted with the site, contact us and we will investigate and remove any associated data.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change. Material changes will be noted in a brief summary at the top of the page for a reasonable period after the update.
